Editing Your Business Writing

Words & Deeds provides common-sense editing, working closely with clients to produce the best product, whether a brochure, newsletter or book manuscript. Turnaround editing provides an added level of confidence that your writing is clear and concise with correct word usage and level of impact you need.

Words & Deeds is a second pair of eyes to ensure your writing says what you want it to say and will be understood by the reader.

The 85/15 rule:

Most business writing projects are about 85 percent correct and effective. It's the 15 percent that often causes confusion and requires additional communications to clear up misunderstandings.

Lack of clarity and brevity can cause your reader to ignore your writing or think less of your project and you. Create a powerful message.

A. Accurate (spelling, punctuation, grammar)
B. Brief (short clear sentences, shorter effective words)
C. Clear and concise words and overall content
Many small business owners and consultants work alone!
